About Me

Cherro DeBlassie BSN, RN, IBCLC

Hi! My name is Cherro DeBlassie and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Registered Nurse. I have always been passionate about all things moms and babies and after graduating nursing school in 2016 I started working at a birth center as a birth assistant and later as a lactation consultant. I started Roots Lactation over a year ago when my midwife told me about the need for in home consults, especially in those first precious early weeks when you should be resting at home, snuggling your new baby. It has since become my favorite job in the world, and I can’t ever imagine myself doing anything other than helping moms and babies reach their feeding goals. 
My husband Andre and I live in Gilbert, AZ with our 3 beautiful daughters. We love playing board games and going on walks as a family, with our dog Hazel. In my spare time you will usually find me with my girls enjoying a stroll through Target with some coffee from Starbucks!!
